Krell Adventures LLC was created by Rodney Villella and Amy Bartoletti. Their goal was to create the next step in obstacle racing. They are both adventure race course designers and race directors for New York Adventure Racing Association (www.NYARA.org). In 2012, they designed the course for the USARA Adventure Racing National Championship held in the Caskills in New York and received unprecedented acclaim.
Krell Adventure Games will be donating a portion of each team’s registration fee for the Pocono Mountains event to Little Eric’s Foundation for the awareness and research of Pediatric Brain & Childhood Cancer. In 2013, we helped to raise money for Eric Speicher, a local young teenage boy, who was diagnosed in 2011 with an aggressive form of brain cancer. Unfortunately, Eric passed away in December 2013 but his family is committed to helping other children with the disease and have formed the Foundation in his honor. We are proud to join them in this mission.
In addition to public events, the Krell Adventures team is also available for select private events. Please contact us of more information in this regard.
Rick and Eric Bartoletti are our in-house fabrication guys, creating all of the “fun” obstacles that you will encounter during your adventure.
Barbara Bartoletti is our volunteer organizer. We couldn’t put on these events without the help of all the amazing volunteers. (Thank you to each of you!!) Also, we know that Barbara is pretty handy with a chainsaw.
Garrett Bartoletti and Jay Berardelli helped us create some great new obstacles for the last two years and we’re sure they’ll be helping us create even better challenges this year.
Bambi Bennett is our in-house marketing consultant. What started out as a marketing project assignment has grown to a real event thanks to her help.
Dave Quinn is our web guru. He is great and we would highly recommend him for any projects you may be considering.
Mia Bartoletti is our in-house psychologist and marketing consultant. She keeps us all sane and has been instrumental in helping to get the word out about our vision.
Mark Alhadeff and Lauren Engel are our video experts and we can’t imagine how many hours they spend editing all the great footage they capture.
The Buchter family (Ange & Paul) have also helped us tremendously, from coursework to Facebook tutorials. Gavin and Adria are our expert mini course testers. Thank them for any “crawling” obstacles.
But again, none of this could happen without the many volunteers who have helped us at every event. Thank you soon much for all you’ve done!
